2013-2014
Charity fund raising
Working with the SUSTRANS charity we are proud to announce that we have raised £102.00 for the charity which spends time educating young people on healthy and safe cycle schemes.

Kathryn Barker our SUSTRANS worker has been working with the children across the school on Bike Skills and Bike Maintenance and recently organised along with the School Council the Competition :Wheelie Wednesday.
Every Wednesday for 6 weeks the children and some parents rode their bikes and scooted their scooters to school.

The competition between five local primary schools was hotting up.........

Finally the results were in!!!

WINNERS.......................OUR LADY STAR OF THE SEA
Our Prize was the donation of a fantastic new bike shelter and a lovely SuperHero Day to say a big thank you for all the hard work that the pupils put in to winning this competition.

Well it comes to the end of another year and the School Council went to Southport...lots of fun was had especially when the council  "buried" John and Shaun in Sand!
I would like to say that it has been a honour to work with the school council and I wish the new school council lots of success.
