Health Week March 2015
Monday 16th-Friday 20th March is Health week. Visitors such as the Police and School Health will be working in the classrooms with the children and focussing on things such as handwashing and keeping ourselves clean, healthy and safe.
Mrs Goodwin our school cook will be holding Masterclasses with some of our classes about healthy eating.
Friday 20th March sees us holding a Marketplace, where outside agencies will be showcasing what services they offer in our school hall. Parents are invited along from 2.30pm to have a look and try a healthy smoothie. Children can also pop in once they have been collected by parents at 3.15pm. 

Red Nose day 2015
Friday 13th March is Red Nose day. This years theme is 'wear something funny for money'. We have been selling red noses in school and they are selling like hot cakes!! Our Student Counsellors are helping to sell the noses at playtimes and they will also be helping out with our cake sale on Friday.

British Heart Foundation day February 2015
Children 'wore it RED' for the day in their own clothes to help raise money for the BHF. Some of our children need help and support from this fantastic charity and we raised money to help support further research for the BHF.

Guiness Speed Stacking
Well...our Student Councillors have helped to organise a BIG challenge. We have entered our school into the Guiness Book of Records Speed Stacking challenge that is taking place on Thursday 13th November 2014. 40 children have to continuously SPEED STACK for 30 minutes!! We have decided to do this in partnership with our School House teams as an Inter-house competition. Everyone is excited!!
Well it's the Guiness Book of Records SPEED STACKING challenge!! Currently, year 2 are Speed stacking in the school hall and doing really well. They are 15 minutes into their 30 minutes of the challenge and about to change from 3 cup stacking to 5 cup stacking!!!! Year 3 are up next!! Photographs to follow shortly...!!

Macmillan & Breast Cancer Charity day
Children and staff 'wore it green or pink for the day to raise money for these two very worthwhile charities. We had raffles, guess the numbers of sweets in the jar and prizes won throughout the day.
