Easter Egg & Teddy raffle

It's that time already and we have collected and had donations from staff for our Easter Raffle. Lots and lots of tickets were sold and we raised over £140 this Easter for our school funds! Amazing amount raised and thank you to everyone who bought tickets and to those who donated. no

 

 

Town hall visit

Our Chairperson Sarah and our Deputy Shaun went on a visit to the Town Hall recently. They went along with children from other local schools and met the Mayor The Worshipful, Mayor of Sefton Cllr Stephen Kermode and had Q & A's with him. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Christmas Teddy raffle

Our School councillors organised a Teddy raffle and sold and raised £96 for school funds! Thanks to all the children who bought raffle tickets. Watch out for our Easter raffle that we are collecting Teddy bears for already! 

 

Ok Foundation work with Strand Schools

School Councillor Chairperson Sarah and Deputy Chairperson Shaun have been involved in the Strand school council fundraising for the Oliver King Foundation. We have had lunch out at English Martyrs which was scrummy and Sarah and Shaun also took part in designing a logo for the Strand schools to use. 

 

We have now collected our boxes for our class suggestion boxes. These will be

decorated and will go into every class for the children to share write their ideas on for our School councillors to discuss at our meetings. 

 

Wear it pink/ green own clothes day &  cake and coffee morning, with our School councillors taking charge of the cake sales, the raffles and guess how many sweets in the jar. 

We also had a second Cake sale for parents in the afternoon from 2.15-3.15pm. We raised a massive £521.66 to share between the charities. WOW!! Well done and thank you to everyone who got involved.
