Ava-Mae our School Council Chairwoman has had an enterprising idea with the aim of raising money for Cafod. Ava-Mai and the Student Council will be making homemade tassel keyrings to sell on the snack trolly for 20p every day at break time. All money raised will go towards the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development.
CAFOD is the official Catholic aid agency for England and Wales, and part of Caritas International. They work through the local Church to reach people and places that others can’t.
Across the world they bring hope and compassion to poor communities, standing side by side with them to end poverty and injustice. CAFOD work on long-term development as well as responding to emergencies.
