Easter Activities (Week 3 & 4)

Hi Year 4,

I hope you are all safe and well. You are officially on your Easter holidays although it feels like a strange one for everybody.

There are lots of school activities that you could try organising at home which we would have done in school around this time - why not get crafty and make some Easter cards or Easter cakes? There are lots of ideas online! You could also make an Easter egg hunt around the house and write some clues for your family to follow to find their eggs.

You might also not want to miss out on the fun of making your Easter bonnet! Why not set up a catwalk in your home or take some pictures and ask your parents to tweet them to the school Twitter page? We'd love to see your creations and any other activities you are getting up to! Our school Twitter is @OurLadyStarSea and parents can follow us if they have a Twitter account.

I have attached some other Easter activities below to keep you busy!

Miss you all! Stay safe and have a lovely Easter. Don't eat too much chocolate!

Easter Art

Create handmade egg decorations to display this Easter. You could hang them in your window or find a nice branch to hang them on.

  1. Ask an adult to help you to very carefully pierce a hole in each end of the eggs and blow through to remove the inside of the egg. Run some water through the holes to wash out the inside of the egg.
  2. Decorate the covered eggs using paper or paint. Be very gentle so that the egg does not crack or break.
