Autumn 1

Children throughout the school will be developing a sense of pride in their place throughout the Autumn Term.

 

Come and See - Children will be exploring the theme of "Families" during RE lessons.  

 

English - We will be exploring texts with a theme of 'Homes'. 

We will use these texts to develop reading and writing skills. 

 

Maths - Children will begin with place value within 10. We will use addition and subtraction and also identify 2d shapes. 

 

Geography - Children will be exploring their immediate area - their home and school. They will develop understanding of the place they are from, including their address and surrounding areas.
