Week 1

Hello my superstars, I hope you are all doing ok and staying safe!

I will be putting a little update on here each week for your home learning activities and a little catch up as I miss those smiley faces of yours already.

I would love it if you can tell someone about the Lost and Found book we have been reading, can you tell someone at home what happens in the story? Then, talk about how the penguin might have felt through the story.

Also, this week be practicing your capital letters, matching A with a, and when do we use a capital letter? Can you tell someone at home all the ways we use a capital letter at home?

I hope you are all practicing your subtraction! Practicing taking away and finding the difference.

Here are a few challenges for you to complete:

  • Find the difference between 17 and 5.
  • Find the difference between 20 and 2.
  • 19 - 4 =

Come and See (RE)

Have a think about and write down ways in which you might make a change or a new start.

I might say - I am going to make a new start by making sure I do some exercise at home every day and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables. This would be a change for me because my gym is closed so need to make sure I am exercising at home.

What can you do to make a change in your life? Something that will make you happy or that you want to achieve.

A little message for the week.

Keep those beautiful smiles on those faces, there is nothing to worry about - stay in and stay safe.

Make sure you are helping people at home too with jobs but most of all make sure you are making memories. This time right now is a time that will, probably, never happen again and will be remembered for years to come.

Always remember - Don't tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.

You are all amazing; stay home, stay safe, stay smiling!

Talk to you next week.
