This is the term when we really got to know your children, we spent a lot of time showing the children the areas of the classroom and how to use them correctly.
There was a big focus on the Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED) aspect of the curriculum, supporting children to tidy away, share the resources and build friendships.
We will spent the first few weeks guiding and supporting children, making observations of their play to begin building their EYFS Learning Journal scrap book (please ask a member of staff). The observations made alongside teacher-led activities informed your child's Baseline Assessment.
