Good morning Year 6!
I hope you all managed to have a relaxing break and are managing to do the work I have been setting you. As you will have probably heard, lots of schools around the country went back to school this week and some of you will be returning on the 15th of June to our school before you head off onto your high school journeys. Whether you will be coming back or not, I will still be available and in contact through our school blog and through messaging on SATs Companion. Here are this weeks tasks.
English
As always, I have added some tasks onto Sats Companion linked to spelling and word classes this week. Here are some other activities that could keep you busy!
Maths
Please check SATs Companion for an arithmetic test that I have added for you to complete. Here is some extra maths for you to have a go at!
ART
One of the things that I have really enjoyed about being in lock down is the sounds of the birds getting louder and clearer and nature being able to thrive with the lack of people and cars around. So here is an enjoyable art activity on how to draw birds. Follow the instructions and if you can research the colour of birds and shade in using a mixture of these colours.
Mindfulness
It is so important to be looking after your mind and relaxing during these times so please sit somewhere without distractions and listen to the video.
