Homework and Reading

Reading books should be read and reading record signed everyday and brought into school. 

Year 3 are given their homework on a Tuesday to be brought back in on the following Wednesday. Homework consists of English, spellings and Maths. Spellings are given out fortnightly.

Names on Uniform

In order to avoid any confusion (particularly during PE lessons!), please make sure that every piece of your child's uniform, book bag and PE kit has their name or initials in them.

Playtime

11:00 - 11.15 -  

Lunchtime

12:15 - 1.00

Snack

Children can purchase fruit at morning playtime at a cost of 20p.

Home time

3pm.

Any Afterschool clubs finish at 4pm promptly.

PE

In Autumn Term, Year 3 have an hour swimming, every Friday until Christmas. They need swimming hat, swimwear, towel and goggles.

Year 3 have PE every Friday. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in every day including footwear. Children will take their kits home at the end of every half term to be washed.

As part of Well Being Wednesday children need their P.E kit for YOGA.

Water

Each child has access to a water bottle and fresh water throughout the day and are encouraged to drink frequently to keep hydrated.
