Homework and Reading Books

Reading books should be read and reading record signed every day and brought into school. Year 5 are given their homework each Friday and it is to be returned every Tuesday. Homework will consist of English and Maths. Spellings will be given out fortnightly.

Names on Uniform

In order to avoid any confusion (particularly during P.E. lessons), please make sure that every piece of your child's uniform, book bag and PE kit has their name or initials on them.

Playtime

11:00 - 11:15

Lunchtime

12:30 - 1:15

PE

Year 5 have P.E/Gymnastics every Monday. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in every day including footwear (pumps or trainers). Children will take their kits home at the end of every half term to be washed.

Snack

Children can purchase a healthy fruit snack during morning break at a cost of 20p.

Water

Each child has access to a water bottle and fresh water throughout the day and are encouraged to drink frequently to keep hydrated. 

Open door policy

Communication between teachers and parents is important. If you have anything you wish to talk about with Miss Bramhill then please wait until the end of the day or make an appointment at the school office.

Year 5 will display any current information in the classroom windows for your reference.
