Homework and Reading
Reading is the most important aspect of learning! Make sure you read the books we send home more than once and try to ask your child questions about the story to help build their comprehension skills. Every time your child reads, you (or whoever has read with them) must sign the the reading record book so we can then change the book when it arrives in school.
Homework is very important. We give homework that consolidates learning from the classroom so please try to make sure the book comes back in so we can put in new work to ensure your child makes progress. Homework is given on a Friday and expected to be back in by the following Thursday.
