Welcome to Year 4
We are so excited to meet you! This term is going to be action-packed. We will be learning lots of exciting, new things!
- P.E - Please attend in full school P.E Kit on Wednesdays.
- Read at home as regularly as possible and sign in reading diaries.
- Spellings will be given out weekly. The test will be on Friday. Please ensure spelling books stay in school bags as we will be working on them at school too.
- In June 2024 your child will participate in a Multiplication Tables Check. They will practise this skill using TT Rockstars, multiplication games and activities. You'll notice that we will be doing TT Rockstars as homework, but doing it at home daily would be ideal.
- Homework will be set weekly and will be TT Rockstars and spellings, although daily times table practise is ideal. There may be other homework tasks set throughout the term.
- Make sure your child has a water bottle in school each day, lots of thirsty work in Year 4!
