Emmaus Community Garden Project

 

At Our Lady, Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School we strive to be at the heart of our community. We are currently working with Emmaus to develop a piece of deserted grassland. In the summer we planted the sunflowers we grew and threw wild flower seed bombs. In the winter, we have sown bulbs which we hope to see flower in the Spring.

Deaf Youth Sign Language Fundraising

 

Year 1 and 2 have been taught Sign Language by Liverpool's Deaf Youth Sign Language Foundation. We went to Bootle Asda to sign language Christmas songs to the spread awareness and to raise money towards the charity.

Pensioners' Christmas Lunch

 

Every Christmas we invite all our local pensioners to come and celebrate Christmas with us. Our fantastic cooks prepare a wonderful Christmas Dinner, our guests are waitered on by our fantastic staff and entertained by our amazing choir. It's such a special event and enjoyed by all.
